Anil Bhaskaran Residence or as the people call it ‘’Chambayulla veedu , sits at the location where the old family house used to be .The Chamba tree in the site is retained and a structure that is not completely alien is built. The design adopts traditional elements in the contemporary design. The open planning provides visual connectivity, but maintains privacy by responding to the context and creating buffer spaces. Thermal comfort in this house was met by introducing louvered courtyards. The zoning of the house is done in a way that there are no dead spaces. The design fulfils the requirements of the three generations in the house.
